Todd's memoir of his remarkable teaching career, "Can't Wait to Get There. Can't Wait to Leave," at corkscrew turns hilarious, heartwarming, and sometimes heartbreaking, was published in December by Stairway Press.

His hilarious novella, "Why Golf Is So Exciting! A Novelty!" was published in March, 2014 in paperback and e-book from Stairway Press. The book also includes a revised version of the critically acclaimed Toonamint of Champions.
Todd was a 2011 candidate for induction into the Georgia Writers Hall of Fame sponsored by the University of Georgia Libraries. He's also a two-time award winner for magazine journalism from the Magazine Association of the Southeast ... and a long time ago, Todd was a local TV personality in the state that started all that secession business.
For a large part of his career, Todd's been a business development expert ... as a hugely effective sales director, corporate PR and media relations practitioner, and marketer. For revolutionizing sales management, marketing, and media relations in the Atlanta area private golf club and country club industry, Todd was acknowledged by Georgia Trend magazine with their annual "Best and Brightest: 40 under 40" award, given to Georgia's most innovative business and political leaders. He was responsible for $27 million in sales as the long-time director of sales and marketing of the 36 hole Golf Club of Georgia, home of one of America's most prestigious international amateur golf tournaments, the "Georgia Cup," of which he is co-founder.
His civic work has been awarded by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation as well as Woodward Academy.
Todd's run fourteen marathons in seven different states, including Washington, D.C.; five half-marathons; and the grandaddy of all obstacle course races, the "Tough Mudder."
Todd is also an accomplished masters-level amateur boxer (age 41+), with a record of 1-1. Recently, he lost in an exciting split decision, as the oldest boxer in the event, in Corporate Fight Night 12, in October 2016, at the Georgia Aquarium, against Geoffrey Robbins.
